Nexus 5 is a flagship of Google and HTC One M8 is of HTC, two great smartphones that have very little similarities; one of the few is their uncanny capabilities to provide their users with superb quality photos.

This phone can detect depth in images where the subject is focused clearly. Its dual camera is known to excel over what Google’s smartphone has because the M8 is able to produce depth in images without difficulty which is not easy to find even with the very popular Samsung’s Galaxy S5. At times, detecting depth in images fails for M8 too but it does succeed most of the time and the results are outstanding.
Features of Nexus 5
This Google’s pride doesn’t offer the production of depth in images which what HTC One M8 is very popular for. However, what’s there to like about M8 is that it has a stable 8MP camera which is very much capable of taking very high quality photos. Even if the level of color reproduction is not the best there is for all smartphones, Nexus 5’s shooter is known to capture excellent details in images which is why it’s ranked as one of the phones with the best cameras in the market today.
Overall, the HTC One M8 looks like the one that has an edge over its competitor specifically in terms of camera features and capabilities but what Nexus 5 isn’t that bad either. The two smartphones are best for those people who are more into taking photos of their devices as they have excellent cameras to offer.
