The iTunes store seems to be slowly rolling out Dragon Quest IV across all locations, with a US release as possible as later today.
The New Zealand iTunes store has been updated to include a listing of Dragon Quest IV (which, at the time of this writing, is humorously misspelled as ‘Dargon Quest IV’) to be released tomorrow on August 7th for $18.99. While a US release date and pricing have yet to be confirmed, Joystiq is speculating that the US iTunes store could be updated with the title as early as tonight — as that has been the case with past iTunes releases. Joystiq also speculates that the game could be priced within the $15.99 – 19.99 price range.
Dragon Quest IV has, of course, been released numerous times before on the Famicom, NES, PlayStation, and Nintendo DS, with the iTunes release bringing the title to iPhone and iPad devices.
