Tech companies have since September been pushing the boundaries and limits with every single handset which is new. Once the thought that the iPhone 6 Plus is the best phone came into our minds, Samsung cancelled the thought by delivering Galaxy Note 4. Nexus 6 followed down the line and now, the Motorola Droid Turbo is promising to hit the smartphone market as one of the best and if not so it may be the best in the market. The fact that the two phones are the best choices at the moment makes the battle between the Galaxy Note 4 and the Droid Turbo to be one of the interesting competitions to have ever been witnessed in the smartphone market.
The two devices are totally different when it comes to design. The Motorola Turbo follows the principles of all Motorola phones of having a flat screen while on the other hand the Galaxy Note 4 is a curvier device. The addition of the S Pen Stylus makes the Note to look more stylish and one of the best designed handset. Both of the handset comes along with a resolution of 1440×2560 and an AMOLED display. The pixel density and sharpness is however different according to the display size. The Note 4 is a larger device as compared to the Droid Turbo which has a screen display of 5.2 since it has a screen display of 5.9 inches. The two devices share the same weight of 176 grams though Note 4 is slimmer with an 8.5 thickness. Despite the Droid turbo being 11.2 mm thick, it feels comfortable once in your hands because of its small size.
Two different devices chipsets are shipped by Samsung’s device. One of them is said to be identical to the chipset of the Motorola Droid Turbo. Note 4’s advantage comes in form of a micro SD card since just 32GB built in memory is offered by this device but also supports a 128 GB external storage memory. The Droid Turbo is limited on a board stage of 32 or 64 GB. Though the difference is huge, the two devices run on the Android 4.4 KitKat. Some features like multi window cannot be possible in the Droid Turbo but the Note comes with a Touch Wiz UI on its top.
When it comes to the camera department, some weaknesses and strength are found in the two devices. When we take the Droid Turbo for example, it has a 21-MP shooter camera at the back while the Note 4 has a 16-mp sensor but comes with more features. The Droid Turbo lacks optical image stabilization though it delivers pictures which are very detailed. The two cameras can record videos and pictures at 4k but some added features like simultaneous image and video covering, dual shot and HDR among many others are found in the Note 4. The Note’s front camera has 3.7 MP with group selfies given a wide mode.
One of the biggest batteries found in the market are delivered by Motorola’s handset. It has a battery capacity of 3900mAh which can be used for two days without recharging. A super turbo charger also comes along with the device which can charge the phone for 8 hour usage in just 30 minutes. On the other hand, the galaxy comes with a 3220 mAh battery that takes 20 hours before it goes off.
The Note $ goes for $750 while the Droid Turbo is cheaper and costs $599. The Droid Turbo is there for those who like much faster updates, Moto software and stock Android while the Note 4 waits for those who want some of the best specs and the S pen.
