[dropcap size=dropcap]W[/dropcap]e have mentioned a few days ago about a new DLC for Battlefield 4 which was supposed to bring back some old BF 3 maps into the game. Now, as the DLC should have been available for download, most of the Xbox Forums users are complaining about a broken downloadable file. Moreover, the DLC is available on a timed offer and those who purchased the Battlefield Premium on Xbox One should have been able to download it without any other costs. Unfortunately, they report the DLC is missing and EA seems to have acknowledged the situation.
The vast majority of the premium Battlefield 4 users are reporting that an entry on the in-game Battlefield store, where the Battlefiel 4 Second Assault DLC should have normally been found, is listed as NULL DATA. Moreover, the pack seems to have no description and cannot be downloaded or purchased whatsoever.
“I know some of you have said already that it is being looked into, I wanted to just confirm that for you so you guys have a [staff] post to refer to,” wrote EA_Rick on the Battlefield’s forums.
„This is ridiculous, a timed exclusive for Xbox One and most of us can’t even download it,” KylerTheCreatorr added. „They should remove it from the marketplace until its fixed. I paid £40 for something thats broke,” another user concluded.
According to Gamespot, EA officials announced that an official investigation is undergoing right now and that soon they will find out what the problem is and why the premium Battlefield 4 users are unable to download the Second Assault DLC.
“Right now all I can say is that we are aware of this issue and are currently investigating this with Microsoft. Once we have some more details I’ll be sure to let you know,” said an EA official.
Well, for the sake of the BF4 users that have chosen to spend their money on a premium subscription, we hope they will soon find an answer to the problem and of course, that thinks will get back to normal and the DLC will be available.
