The season 3 premiere of Elementary is back with a new Watson. The fans had to wait for a long time, left to think about what would happen to Sherlock after his association with London’s MI6.
Nothing about MI6 could be said with certainty as the new season picked up a few months later featuring Sherlock back in New York. He has the association of Kitty Winter, the sidekick. Ophelia Lovibond is playing the role of Kitty. It is obvious that the relationship of Joan Watson with Sherlock Holmes and Kitty is going to be interesting.
It is Joan who served as the consulting detective for Captain Gregson and Detective Bell, in the absence of Sherlock Holmes. It had helped her a lot in order to create her arch nemesis, Gina Gershon’s Elana March, who is fairly ruthless.
Kitty Winter, the new partner of Sherlock Holmes, is derived from a classic book of Sherlock Holmes named “Adventure of the Illustrious Client”. According to the tradition of the show, it is anticipated that Kitty Winter will also be adopted to the upgraded modern era. She must possess all the qualities needed in the modern era in order to keep up with the requirements of the show.

Kitty is not worried about the strict reaction from the fans of this series. All the stars are aware of the fact that most of the fans might not like Kitty Winter and this is not strange. This is the way their fans should react. Lovibond added that Kitty is there to rock the boat. She says that the reaction of the fans will make Kitty perform even better. Kitty is not some sort of amiable character.
We will learn more about the impact of Kitty’s introduction to the series. Until now it has left us to adopt the policy of wait and see and this it what all of us should do.
