Nintendo has revealed the list of new downloadable titles and sales on its North American 3DS and Wii U eShop for the week of January 15, 2015.  Here’s the list of the digital content highlights releasing on Nintendo’s digital distribution platform within the next seven days.

  • 3D After Burner II ($5.99)

Announced during the Nintendo Direct of January 14, 2015, SEGA is remastering some of its classic games onto the 3DS, with 3D After Burner II being the first one of the bunch. With its 23 stages filled with squadrons of enemy fighters, you’ll be able to enjoy this arcade masterpiece rendered in 3D.

 

  • Asterix: The Mansion of the Gods (Free Demo)

A free demo for the only official Asterix: The Mansion of the Gods game is now available on the 3DS eShop. This is the perfect opportunity to test out this Action-Adventure title and see if it is worth its $34.99 price point.

 

  • Best of Mahjong ($2.99)

If you recall last week, Cosmigo released Best of Solitaire on the eShop, and this week we are treated to Best of Mahjong, which is a traditional tile-matching game. Featuring 404 layouts with millions of ways to play, Best of Mahjong will relax your mind with an endless array of Mahjong games.

 

  • Soccer Up Online ($3.99)

Soccer Up is back, but this time it has an online Multiplayer mode where you and your friends can compete with people around the world. Additionally, you can take on the World Cup with you own customized team composed of your Miis, so that you can feel like a true soccer superstar.

 

  • Space Lift Danger Panic! ($2.99)

Coming from the makers of Tiny Dice Dungeon, Space Lift Danger Panic! is Springloaded’s first 3DS title that has you test your reaction time. As the Ceranthian’s last hope, you must use a teleportation cannon to summon portals to save all the travelers from deadly peril.

 

  • Quell Memento ($3.99)

Being the sequel to Quell Reflect, Quell Memento builds on the simple and easy to pick up nature of its predecessor, featuring over 150 freshly new puzzles, balanced difficulty settings and a brand new soundtrack. Take note that this title will be available on January 16.

 

  • WRC Official Game of the FIA World Rally Championship ($34.99)

Race through the tracks of the World Rally Championship going all the way from Sweden to Mexico with the official game of the FIA. It features all the content from the 2014-2015 season, including 13 rallies, 7 teams, 14 drivers, the 4 official manufacturers and all the associated liveries. A demo is also available alongside the full version of the game.

  • Electronic Super Joy: Groove City ($4.99)

With its 15 new levels providing an endless amount of challenge, the sequel to Electronic Super Joy has you take on a brand new villain in an exciting new world called Groove City. You’ll have to re-acquire your Laser-Nipples (yes, Laser-Nipples) from the evil Dr. Swinger with the help of Boris the Super Sexy.

 

  • Family Tennis SP ($4.99)

Family Tennis SP is a cute and relaxing tennis experience developed by Arc System Works. Featuring Single-Player and up to 4-player Multiplayer, it will determine who is the grand master of the court.

 

  • uWordsmith ($1.99)

Using the TV screen and your GamePad, uWordsmith has you spell what is displayed on your TV by dragging and arranging letters on the GamePad. It has over 100 items varied in category as well as multiple modes that will definitely keep you occupied for a while.

  • Lufia: The Legend Returns ($5.99)

This classic Turn-Based RPG has you join a cast of 12 characters as they embark on a journey through four continents. Are you strong enough to save the world from the powerful Sinistrals?

  • Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight ($4.99)

It’s been 25 years since Ken left his fighting career, but now he has to set on a very different adventure compared to his glory days. You will still be punching your way through various waves of enemies in a side-scrolling environment, except you will do all of this across the galaxy.

The Throwback Sale:

Nintendo is offering up to 50 percent discounts on selected classic and new paired game installments until February 5, 2015. This week, games like Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario 3D World, Yoshi’s New Island and Pushmo World are all on sale until January 22, 2015.

  • Pushmo (3DS)

This Puzzle game is now $3.49 instead of $6.99 on the 3DS eShop.

  • Pushmo World (Wii U)

This sequel is now $7.49 instead of $9.99 on the Wii U eShop.

  • Super Mario 3D World (Wii U)

This Platformer is now $44.99 instead of $59.99 on the Wii U eShop.

  • Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii U)

This original Wii title is now $9.99 instead of $19.99 on the Wii U eShop.

  • Yoshi’s New Island (3DS)

This Platformer is now $29.99 instead of $39.99 on the 3DS eShop.

  • Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3 (Wii U)

This SNES classic is now $5.99 instead of $7.99 on the Wii U eShop.

 

 

The Super Indie Connection Sale #2:

From now to January 29, 2015, a bunch of indie games are on sale on the 3DS and Wii U eShop. You can visit the list of Nintendo eShop offers for the complete list of the games that are discounted.

 

Other Sales:

  • LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham (3DS & Wii U)

Both versions of LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham are now on sale on the eShop. The Wii U version is now $39.99 instead of $49.99, while the 3DS version is now $19.99 instead of $29.99.

  • The LEGO Movie Videogame & LEGO The Hobbit (Wii U)

These titles are now $19.99 each instead of $29.99 each on the Wii U eShop.

  • Soccer Up 3D (3DS)

This soccer game is now $2.99 instead of $6.99.
