What changes should you expect once the Battlefield 4 “Fall Patch” goes live at the end of September
The Battlefield “Fall Patch” will remove trigger delay on all revolvers. At the end of September DICE will be releasing the Battlefield 4 “Fall Patch”, which will bring plenty of tweaks and changes to the game and while they haven’t released the full patch notes yet, DICE did give us a quick rundown on what to expect on Battlefields Official Blog.
One of the first changes you will notice about the Battlefield 4 “Fall Patch” is that it will allow you to within reason de-clutter your HUD with some new customisable options. This will also you to personalise your HUD to only what you feel is necessary.
Staying with the HUD, the close & medium range sight reticule will be no longer effected by firing animations, and the patch will also improve the visibility of the red dot reticule against bright backgrounds.
The Patch will also make the revival mechanics easier to understand with new UI art and a new “fully charged” paddle sound. The players movements will be changed to being almost identical to BF3 after the patch too, although the movement animations will stay the same.
One of the biggest changes this patch will bring is to the netcode, with this patch changing the automatic High Frequency update to default for everybody. High Frequency support will also be available to Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers as well, and there will be improvements to the bullet damage delays between clients.
There will also be some changes to the weapon attachments, including a small buff to standing hip fire for the laser sight and the buff that the heavy barrel provides to your minimum movement speed. Along with changes to the attachments, the weapons are also seeing some changes like for example, no more trigger delay on all revolvers and your grenade capacity has been lowered but your resupply rate has been improved.
The Battlefield 4 “Fall Patch” will also address some of the issues in the recent “Final Stand” DLC. These changes but won’t be limited to rebalancing the score system so going after the objectives is more tempting as well as some rebalancing to the Health and Ammo packs.
The Battlefield 4 “Fall Patch” will be released at the end of September and it will bring too many changes to list here, but if you want to find out more than you can check it out here at the Battlefield Official Blog.
