Square Enix announced on September 30, 2026 that the Fall Guys collaboration is returning to Final Fantasy XIV. The announcement is titled “Fall Guys Collaboration Event Returns October 7!” and is listed for Final Fantasy XIV Online on the official Steam Community page. The limited-time crossover begins Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 1:00 a.m. (PDT) and ends Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 7:59 a.m. (PDT). During that window, players can join a Blunderville show to earn prizes that include attire, a mount, framer’s kits, and more.
Level and main scenario quest requirements
To participate in the Blunderville show, a character must be level 15 or above. That character must also have completed one of three main scenario quests before starting the event quest. The qualifying main scenario quests are “The Gridanian Envoy”, “The Ul’dahn Envoy”, and “The Lominsan Envoy”. Completing any one of these three quests meets the entry condition for the collaboration. The event is open to all players who meet those conditions.
How to begin the event quest
After meeting the level and main scenario quest requirements, players can begin the event quest “It Could Happen to You” by speaking to the Well-heeled Youth in Ul’dah, Steps of Nald at X:9.6 Y:9.0. Completing that event quest allows players to travel to the Manderville Gold Saucer via airship from any of the three city-states. Square Enix included these participation instructions in the Steam Community announcement. This quest is the entry point for the collaboration.
Returning players and future event runs
Square Enix stated that the event is identical to the one previously held. Players who already completed the quest during a previous release may immediately resume the collaboration content when the event returns. No separate unlock is required for returning players. After this collaboration event ends, Square Enix will hold it as a special event at irregular intervals.
The Fall Guys return follows other recent Final Fantasy XIV activity. Square Enix has also brought back the Final Fantasy XV collaboration event. The game recently received Patch 7.56 as well. Square Enix has not announced a fixed date for the next irregular run.
