The apparent release of Fallout 4 ‘teaser site’, after being the focus of a lot of discussions on the internet has been updated using a Morse Code message. The message that has been seen by several gamers is believed to have close ties to a revelation about Fallout 4 in the near future. Some gamers think that any updates and / or patches released for the game will be directly involved with the secret message.
The website ‘the survivor2299.com’ has installed a countdown timer next to the iconic ‘Vault Tec’ logo. A number of gamers believe that this is a clear indication that the website was and is related to Fallout. However, a recent update has a looping Morse Code message. Reddit users came across the message and quickly decoded it. In technical jargon, it is – CQ CQ CQ DE OZ PSE AS. When it is translated to layman’s language, it means ‘calling any station’ which is repeated several times. It Please Stand by from Oscar Zulu.
An unmarked quest from fallout 3 has a radio station which is abandoned and goes by the name of Oscar Zulu. Fallout 4 fans and gamers therefore conclude that the website ‘the survivor2299.com’ is actually a part of Fallout 4. Some believe that it will be the first to have any updates on the game, or alpha editions of any future Fallout game.
Even though it is not quite clear whether the website is an intricate hoax or legitimate work by Bethesda, the ties to Fallout are pretty evident. All the same, the message has resulted with a big stir in the gaming community. More speculation has been caused with the recent trade marking of Fallout 4 brand. This is the reason why the series’ fans are already gleaning possible storylines. At the same time, some are speculating that the countdown timer will result in a dead end filled with disappointment, or the much anticipated release of Fallout 4!
