Earlier today, Gameinformer reported that players will be able to finally get their hands on a Final Fantasy XV demo in 2015. The post was quickly taken down, presumably as it was published early, however Gamer Headlines captured the article before it did.
The demo is being titled “Episode Duscae,” and focuses on earlier sections of the game, however some elements will be tweaked to make for a more robust demo experience. The Final Fantasy XV demo, the article suggests, would be granted to those who purchase Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, slotted for a March 17th, 2015 release, though it’s unclear whether or not the demo would release at the same time. The demo will be available on both PS4 and Xbox One, however.
Final Fantasy XV marks a departure from the iconic RPG series as it drops its turn-based roots in favour of action gameplay in the style of Devil May Cry or Bayonetta.
