I have spent quite some time with the Icon now and have made my conclusion on how the device fairs with someone whose native phone OS is Android and first time ever using a Windows phone for my day to day tasks of writing and responding to email, watching and reading the latest in news and reviews about the tech and video game industry. I have ran my daily operations on this devices.
My first impressions were not to great it was a real burden finding and using replacement apps to the apps I use on a daily basis on my Nexus 5. The Windows Store is practically empty and does not suffice to my needs for an App store, but you will hear more about these in my review coming soon.
