In a rather interesting, albeit welcome turn of events, it seems that the follow-up to smash hit, Five Nights at Freddy’s, aptly titled Five Night at Freddy’s 2, has officially launched and is now available for purchase on Steam.
For those unfamiliar with Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, it is the sequel to the aforementioned indie game, Five Nights at Freddy’s, which released earlier this year. Both games were created by game developer Scott Cawthon.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 – Now Available
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 was originally expected to release sometime in 2015, however it’s launch date was pushed forward to December 25, 2014.
Fortunately for fans of the jump-scare-centric gameplay that FNaF brings to the table, it seems that that fan demand has bolstered development of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, as the game is now available in its entirety on Steam for a mere $7.99.
Apparently, some community members didn’t believe that the full game was released, claiming it to simply be a possible early demo for the game. However, gamers who have purchased, and subsequently played the game, have confirmed that the game is indeed complete. Furthermore, creator Scott Cawthon confirmed the full game’s release on Steam via an official announcement on the game’s Steam page.
