With allies like these, there’ll be no need for enemies in Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs. Released to the public on their official Youtube channel, Ubisoft introduced an array of characters that’ll be influential in Watch Dogs main plot-line. While there has been no actual revelations following how the story will play out; getting a glimpse on the inside mechanics of character relationships can say a lot about a game’s merit. So far, we’ve been given an outright description that compiles over five possible characters. Ranging from ex-soldiers to delightfully suave conmen. Get ready to house some hackers and various vigilantes, and be prepared to pack-up all the expected cliche concepts of your modern rebel group troupes. Watch Dogs is here to appease even the most fickle of narrative gameplay enthusiasts and mesh together a compelling cast that’ll constantly force the player think twice about who to trust.

If you’re going to take on Chicago’s expansive realm of organized crime by storm; you’d better have a damn good team at your disposal. Aiden Pearce has no doubt come to terms with that and recruited (or at least persuaded) multiple miscreants to apply their skills to his own. With the cohesive assistance of hacker Clara Lille, demolitions aficionado T-Bone Grady, and fixer Jordi Chin, we can assume that the “main four” will attribute to the plot in their own unique aspect. Keep in mind that there are more characters in the trailer then whom sources are pointing at being the most influential. Ubisoft is laying down some major hints, but we have yet to see (or hear) concrete evidence on how each will expand Chicago’s horizon in Watch Dogs.
Watch Dogs will become available on May 27th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. The less anticipated Wii U version is coming at a later date, some estimate at least a month or two post-console release.
