Both the Galaxy Alpha and the iPhone 6 have 4.7 inch displays. The Samsung device features a super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, with a density of 312 ppi. The iPhone display uses IPS LCD and comes with Apple’s Retina Display. The resolution is of 1334 by 750 pixels, with a density of 326 ppi. The Xperia has the smallest display of the four, measuring in at 4.6 inches. The iPhone 6 has lesser ram at only one gigabyte. The processing unit consists of a dual core, 64 bit processor, the A8 from Apple. A second processor, the M8 is also features, which assists in taking loads off the A8. The Lumia features a quad core, 2.2 GHz snapdragon processor, powered by Qualcomm. The ram of the device is also 2 gigabytes. The Sony Xperia is also powered by a snapdragon processor and also features a quad core processor. The Galaxy has a 2.1 MP front camera, supported by a 12 MP rear camera. The rear camera of the iPhone has only 8 MP and the front only 1.2 MP. However, Apple makes up for quality using great optimizations.
The Xperia also features the biggest battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh. The Galaxy features a 1860 mAh battery while the Lumia has a 2450 mAh one. According to iFixit, the iPhone 6 has a 1810 mAh battery.
These devices are available across a wide price range. On Amazon, the rates for the iPhone are the highest, starting at $810. The Samsung costs $629 while the Xperia costs $525. The Lumia is the cheapest of the lot and is listed at $467.
