Taking place in the South Pacific during World War 2, the game puts you in charge of a crack garrison on a tropical Island, and it’s your job to train your army and battle for land, air and sea supremacy as you both defend your own Island as well as taking the fight to your opponent’s Island to raid and pillage their resources for your ever-growing army.

While Battle Islands started its life as a mobile game, the game was later ported to Steam and from today is available on the PS4 but as already mentioned this isn’t a simple port. For the PS4 version Battle Islands has been built from the ground up and now features “brand new higher resolution assets” as well as a completely new user interface for the PS4’s controller.
