This year’s VGX had surprises in store for all of us, and among them, we’ve finally had the official confirmation that Telltale Games is working on a Game of Thrones game. A small teaser video has also been revealed, showing nothing more than the bare minimum, but enough for us to get on the hype train and go along for the ride.
We’re even more excited about the project because, at least so far, Telltale has a flawless track record when it comes to telling stories. We’ve seen them do wonders with the Walking Dead comics, as well as the Wolf Among Us series. We’re not sure when the game will be released, and judging by the lack of concrete information provided, it’s likely it’s still far off. Still, we’re confident it will be worth the wait, and we’re very curious to see what Telltale does with George R.R. Martin’s universe.
