Capcom confirms that PS4 and PC players will be able to fight each other in Street Fighter 5 with cross-platform play
On December 5th Capcom made the surprise reveal that their going to stop milking Street Fighter 4 and that they’ll be releasing Street Fighter 5 exclusively for the PS4 and the PC. Well great news for both sides because Capcom has revealed that PS4 and PC players will be able to take each other on because Street Fighter 5 will have cross-platform play.
This is great news for both sides and on Capcom’s blog they said that “What’s even bigger news is that our partnership with Sony will result in SFV having cross-platform play, which will in turn unite our Street Fighter fans into one grand player base. That’s right; PS4 owners will now be able to lay the smack down against PC owners and vice-versa, a first for the Street Fighter series!”.
Besides this Capcom hasn’t released any more information about Street Fighter 5, not even a release date. However if your itching to see Street Fighter 5 in action then tune into the capcomcup.com on December 13th to see the first ever match.
While details for Capcom’s latest title Street Fighter 5 may be scarce, Capcom has revealed that PS4 and PC players will be able to take the fight to each other in cross-platform play.
