So, a last minute exit was missed by a lot of users. In such cases, to change the direction rapidly in a short period of time is also very dangerous.
The new feature has eliminated all such dangers. To use this new feature, you just need to tap the icon of the car. A number of lines will be shown by a small pop. These lines will include other turning lines and the right line you ought to turn.
Google Maps Saving and Searching Features
With Google Maps, it is easy to make a search for a specific destination. You can also save the searches to use them later when you are not online. This feature was already available in the application, but with a full map design, it has now become much easier to use this feature. You can store and label the maps in a specific location. After this, you can use these maps any time you need.
To use this feature, you are required to make a search for the destination. You can also choose a location in the neighborhood. After this, strike upwards and see the location card of the particular location. You can get some specific information about the area like view of the street, etc. There is an option for saving the map on the bottom side. Simply save this map by labeling it. The map is stored in a period of a few seconds. Whenever you want to use the saved maps, you just need to go to the home screen. Click on the symbol of person available on right. All of the offline maps can be found at the bottom of the profile page.
Google Maps and Public Transport
A new feature is also available now. This feature is mainly useful for the public transport. With this newest feature, the departure and the arrival time can be specified. There are varying timings of the public transport. Thus, with this feature, we can view the time of arrival and the time of departure of the public transport. You can also know about the time of the last bus.
You can use this function by simply searching for the directions of public transport by clicking “Depart At’’ icon. On the lowest part of the map, a small pop up box will appear. Select the date and the time. Just click on Last to find the time of departure of the last bus or the last train. After this, click on “Done”. With this, you can also view the waiting time between the buses.
