Google Maps was known and popular because of its innovative way of making the entire world easily be viewed by anyone who uses this application. Looking for directions and certain places could be easily located and searched with the use of Google Maps application. Most of the time, Google uses cars to travel and shoot their photographs of different locations, but it is only applicable for places that could be accessed using vehicles. There are a lot of places in the world that cannot be reached easily if you ride a car. This is the reason why Google used an alternative way of reaching locations like what they did in Liwa Desert in the United Arab Emirates. Instead of using the old traditional way, they have their cameras placed on camels, which is relatively known to be the most effective way of travelling into the sands of the deserts.
Its modern and unique way of helping people locate some hard to reach places like Liwa Desert makes it more live and pleasant for Google Maps users. Google says that they did not do it just to make it easier for them to travel, but to make the fascinating environment viewable to Google Maps users in the entire world. For viewers to be amazed with the beauty of the desert, Google lets the trekker roam around the open wide space with its camel and gets captions or imageries of how the desert really looks like. This makes it looks like you are the one who is personally travelling into the desert. This also allows Google to have unique and authentic pictures of the open wide space.
Google also used other alternative ways of transportation to see different locations in the world. It is not the first time that Google did not use cars to go into such place. They previously used bikes and boats to see some places where cars could not access. Google makes it possible for users to have a live imagery of these places that they cannot easily go into, without travelling there personally. All were made possible by Google.
Google posted a short video on YouTube where you could see the camel roaming around the stunning open space of the desert. This shows how Google makes it an effective way of locating this kind of places.
