Gossip Girl star Blake Lively is pregnant!
Before the announcement, there were ongoing rumors that the actress and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, were planning to have a baby. And just recently, the couple confirmed that they are expecting their first child. The 27 year-old actress revealed this on Preserve, her lifestyle site, in a post entitled Bringing Up Baby, alongside the company’s Preserve Celebration: Falling for Family launch.
According to the site’s statement, Preserve will now focus on family. The site said that they were able to feature lifestyles and tips for almost all people, but they did not have any for the woman who started it all, the one who is possibly the best part of creating a family. Now the site has prepared a celebration for these women who sacrifices and love their precious one inside their tummies. The things or food they usually love to eat, the precious gifts that will truly make them happy once they have their expecting baby, some tips to make them relieved from stress and tension and any other things that will mostly focus on the expecting moms out there. The statement just showed how they will feature and congratulate the soon-to-be moms.
In the said site, there are numbers of photographs that show Lively having a baby shower in an autumn theme with her family and friends. There is also an image of her smiling while cradling and admiring her baby bump. That’s a perfect picture of a loving mom. This amazing photo was taken by her brother, Eric Lively, 33, who is also an actor.
Kelly Rutherford, another Gossip Girl actress and Lively’s mom on the series, told People.com her thoughts on her soon-to-be mom co-star. She expressed her feelings and thoughts of how she thinks Lively as an amazing and loving mom. She said that Lively even presented herself once to babysit her kids and that made her impressed that the lovely woman was such a family oriented person.
Meanwhile, Reynolds last spoke about his desire to have a baby with Lively in the August 2013 issue of Details magazine. He said to Enews that they would like to have a big and happy family.
Lively met Reynolds, 37, on the set of the movie The Green Lantern in 2010. And after dating for a year, the two then married in a secret ceremony in September 2011 in a white tent at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., just outside of Charleston.
