Gran Turismo 7’s free Spec IV (Part 1) update is available beginning today, October 14, 2026, at 11:00 pm PDT, which is October 15 at 7:00 am BST and 3:00 pm JST. The update adds six new cars and the Sportsland Sugo circuit to the game.

Polyphony Digital detailed the update in its October 14 PlayStation Blog post. The new vehicle list includes the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo electric hypercar, a 1994 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta, a 1987 Honda Civic Si Group A version, the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Evo ’26, a Honda Step WGN Spada Premium Line ’23, and a Citroen 2 CV 6 Charleston ’86. The update also adds six new World Circuit events, new Sunday Cup events, new Scapes photography locations, new Car Viewer features, and Experience mode content.

The same post also reveals the DualSense Wireless Controller – Gran Turismo Limited Edition, which celebrates 30 years of Gran Turismo.

The six new cars

All six vehicles can be bought from Brand Central using credits, which can be earned through game progression or bought. The update itself is free to download, though players need an internet connection to install it.

Xiaomi Auto design head Tianyuan Li described the question behind the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo: "Do we pursue extreme low drag for straight-line speed, or maximum downforce to conquer corners? The optimal solution lies in finding the perfect balance between the two." Series producer Kazunori Yamauchi said, "When I saw that Xiaomi had resolved the contradiction between low drag and high downforce, I was truly amazed."

The update arrives as the series’ competitive scene keeps moving, with the Gran Turismo World Series 2026 Round 3 set for Singapore’s Sands Theatre this October.

Sportsland Sugo is a new circuit. The update adds six new World Circuit events and new Sunday Cup events. New Scapes photography locations, new Car Viewer features, and Experience mode content are also included.
