This weekend Grand Theft Auto Online players registered in the Rockstar Social Club would be able to experience a new event called Creator Weekend. The event is focused on jobs created by the players via the beta versions of the GTA Deathmatch and Race creators. In just a few hours (2pm ET) Rockstar will be hosting a 2 hour long live stream broadcast marking the start of the event. The live stream will also be focused on the Creator and content from their newly released Capture update.
Players, who tune in to the GTA Online world during the creator weekend will be able to win limited edition GTA V gear. Rockstar are also promising additional crate drops, RP bonuses and high powered weapons.
If you are interested in creating, you should tag what you believe to be your best GTA creation with #CreatorWeekend. By doing so, you will be entering into the GTA Online creator weekend contest that will grant 5 lucky creators as much as $ 1 000 000 in-game cash and an exclusive vanity license plate.
Another feature of the GTA online social event this weekend will be the waiving of all in-game entry fees for player-created content. Every player will be able to enjoy a huge number of user created Race and Deathmatch content free of charge. All armor vehicle upgrades will also be 50% off, so if you have already planned on upgrading your vehicle, now would be the time to do so. Moreover The Adder, Dinka Double-T and Buzzard vehicles will come at a 25% discount.
