On November 15, 2001, Bungie released Halo: Combat Evolve; this futuristic first-person shooter follows the cybernetic enhanced supersoldier known as the Spartan II Master Chief (Petty Officer John-117) who later on implants Cortana (a feminine artificial intelligence) into his neural interface during the Covenant’s assault on the Pillar of Autumn near the ring-shaped artificial world. After crashed-landing onto the foreign soil, little did Master Chief, Bungie’s development crew and players know or realize that this intergalactic journey will last more than a decade. In fact, this fist game has resulted in four sequels, spin-off games, and two remaster versions (Halo: Anniversary and Halo: Master Chief Collection).
Halo: Master Chief Collection (MCC) will arrive for the XBox One on November 11, 2014. Though this high definition collection will allow folks to replay the first game for the third time, audiences sometimes question if the developers have changed anything at all in each remake. To see enhance resolution and audio differences over the years, folks can watch four versions of the Silent Cartographer’s introduction. Interestingly enough, Cortana’s warning gets edited out before the initial release and could be heard in the beta version.
