It was recently announced that the latest spin off to the Halo franchise, Halo: Spartan Assault is making it’s way to PC through Steam on April 4. Halo: Spartan Assault will cost $4.99 on release. The game will feature a number of Steam achievements and full controller support. However, no details regarding minimum or recommended system requirements were given. It was confirmed that this version of the game will not feature any form of co-op.

Halo: Spartan Assault is a top-down perspective twin stick shooter developed by Vanguard Games, 343 Industries and Microsoft Game Studios. It was initially launched on Windows 8 and Windows mobile devices in July 2013 before making it’s way to the Xbox One at the end of last year and Xbox 360 in January this year. The game received mixed reviews due to the controls, which may be alleviated with a keyboard of gamepad.
