Blizzard has announced its first ever tournament for its card game Hearthstone which is going to be held next month at BlizzCon. For this tournament Blizzards has selected eight players, four to be placed in top bracket and four are going to take bottom bracket. Tournament’s winner will be awarded a trophy and a crown from Hearth’s Grandmaster.
Tournament Details
The name of the Tournament is “the innkeeper’s invitational”. Every tournament match will be best of five competitions. Every player has to bring three decks of three separate classes and in case a deck got defeated, it will be removed from the game. A player running out of decks would also be out of tournament. Losing players will have to select one the remaining decks for battle and in case decks run out, game for losing player will be finished.
This tournament’s format encourages some common strategies like players putting out their strongest deck first or reversing it. This tournament will take place at BlizzCon and its live stream will also be available.

Eight players selected for this particular tournament are the ones who are heavily linked with streaming games. All the selected players are top rated players of various games and some of them are also professional warcraft players.
