Hearthstone: The Curse of Naxxramas Will be Available This Summer

Hearthstone

Due to the ample success that Blizzard Entertainment has seen with Hearthstone in a mere month, it wouldn’t have been long until we expected some future extensions to the current CCG game. What the game development team has prepared for the next step of Hearthstone‘s augmentation is rather nostalgic sentiment to any savvy World of Warcraft fan. Since the name Naxxramas is derived from a massive floating necropolis which was originally designed for high-level players during the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion; we can expect that Hearthstone will host at least several iconic bosses from the 10 to 25-man raid like Loatheb and Patchwerk.

But that won’t be the only implemented change. The developers over at Blizzard Entertainment are aware that the smartest idea to reassure that Hearthstone continues to advance is to maintain a steady stream of new content. Especially since the current version of Hearthstone is free-to-play to all potential users and has its intention to remain as such. The first wing of Naxxramas will be free and open to the public come The Curse of Naxxramas’ release date, however in order to explore additional locations the player will be expected to apply the appropriate in-game purchases. As many are already aware, the ‘gold’ in Hearthstone can only be obtained by putting actual money into the digital CCG. So be prepared to invest at least a few extra dollars into Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas.

Be aware that it won’t be just the new content that you’re paying for, since the new package confirms that there’ll be 30 brand-new cards as well as drawn emphasis on the single-player adventure experience. Blizzard has plans to release one wing at a time, starting with the “The Arachnid Quarter”  in accordance to Forbes assessment article and hopefully coming to a conclusion with the content we’re familiar with in World of Warcraft. Although the development team has remained silent on the official release date, we’re more than certain it’ll launch around summer of 2014.

If you’re ultimately concerned about the price range of Hearthstone: The Curse of Naxxaramas it’ll probably be only a little more expensive then the down payment for an Arena session. We’re putting it at 300-350 gold tops, but that is just a rough estimate considering what we’ve seen from Hearthstone as of late.

Will you be considering purchasing the next chapter of Hearthstone?
