Indie Games for Good- Child’s Play Charity Event Starts Friday

by GH Staff

With all of the vim and vile that gets thrown around in the gaming community, we gamers are capable of a lot of good deeds. Example given: Indie Games for Good.

For once I can’t bring myself talk smack about my subject. Seriously guys, organizations like this get the Griffin Cost Seal of Approval, and frankly they deserve our attention way more than whatever underground gaming con we’re covering this week. I highly urge you guys to check them out.

Indie Games for Good is an annual (this being it’s 4th consecutive year in existence) game streaming marathon whose profits and other donations go towards the charity Child’s Play.

The event boasts over 100 indie games chosen by donating viewers, as well as a few other fun opiates of the masses. Namely, there will be auctions, raffles, and the like, where said donating viewers can win or purchase prizes and other goodies. Sounds like a good time all around; get some stuff, watch some games, and help some hospitalized kids have a more enjoyable stay.
