Zombie Studio’s Daylight, which was originally due for release on Playstation 4 and PC on April 8th, has been pushed to a release date of April 29th.  The publisher ATLUS has announced that the game has been pushed back so that it can be made into a scarier experience.

According to the publisher, “The way Daylight is developed is completely different because of its procedural generation.”  “In a lot of ways it really helped the team by streamlining the environment creation, but it’s taken extra time to make sure all the scare cues are properly implemented for maximum player effect.”

In response to this, ATLUS has also announced that Daylight will be cheaper for a limited time.  Beginning on April 29th for two weeks, subscribers to Playstation Plus will have the chance to play Daylight for only $9.99, and non-subscribers can also receive the game for $11.99.  PC owners can pre-order the game from now until April 29th, and receive Daylight for only $9.99.  After the limited time offer, Daylight will return to its original listing price of $14.99.
