Gameplay footage of Sucker Punch’s anticipated Infamous: Second Son leaked onto YouTube earlier today under the disguise of being a Titanfall video, and was almost immediately taken down again after copyright claims by Sony Pictures. Luckily for you, we were able to capture some choice gifs before it was taken offline, including footage of protagonist Delsin’s first fight and moral choice.
The early gameplay footage showed Delsin before he earns his first power. Here he is platforming his way across a beach. Infamous: Second Son looks stunning here and the platforming as accomplished as ever:

Delsin is actually a Conduit who can soak powers from others, so he’ll have multiple sets of abilities as the game progresses. So far we know about his smoke and neon powers, Sucker Punch are keeping the others a mystery.
Here’s Delsin after he gets his first power – smoke. I didn’t manage to get a decent capture of him actually getting the smoke power, so you’ll just have to wait and see how that plays out:

This looks a lot better here.
Smoke powers give Delsin some awesome new traversal abilities, such as getting to the top of buildings through vents. Much easier than climbing:

It all eventually leads Delsin to his first fight, which shows off some cool particle and smoke effects. The generation gap between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 is easy to see, Second Son looks truly next-gen.

Smoke travels through fences too:

Eventually, a sinister looking woman on the hunt for Conduits appears and Delsin is faced with his first moral Hero/Infamous choice – sacrifice a tribe, or save them by turning himself in.

Being the type who leaks early gameplay footage, it’s probably no surprise the player jumped for the evil choice. Here’s what happened:

Poor Betty, that didn’t look very nice.
Infamous: Second Son releasing on March 21st exclusive to PlayStation 4. It feels genuinely next-gen to me. Will you be playing it?
