iOS 8.0.2 Offers Solutions With New Update

by GH Staff

iPhone users now have a viable solution, as this week Apple launched a new update that fixes the issues of their last update.

iOS 8 was supposed to offer better security, and the iOS 8.0.1 was also launched to fix problems. But both proved to cause more problems than solve them.

iOS 8.0.1 messed with the cellular service of iPhone users and other issues. Now Apple launched iOS 8.0.2 that is fixing the reachability and HealthKit issues, in hoping to prevent any more problems with connectivity.

Earlier this week, Apple apologized to their users for the inconvenience and made a promise to fix the problems with their newest update. Apple temporarily provides workarounds to solve the problems, but you will need to have a copy of iOS firmware and access to a computer. 40,000 users downloaded the iOS 8.0.1 before pulling it.

Now with the new update, it aims to fix Reachability issues, as well as to fix a bug to make apps more compatible with HealthKit. Other fixes include problems with connecting to the cellular network, putting HealthKit back on the App Store, and fixing TouchID on the latest iPhones models. They have also solved the issues so users can deselect their keyboards from third parties after typing in their passwords.

They have also resolved the issue with users opening their Photo Library. Provided more support of Ask To Buy for Family for In-App purchases, improved their Reachability reliability, and fixed bugs that stopped users from uploading videos and photos from Safari.

The previous update was launched in order to decrease the usage of data on text messages, but caused several other problems after downloading. Hopefully, this newest update will fix the problems, instead of causing some new ones.
