Since iPhone 4, Apple hasn’t made any large design changes to the new phones that it introduced to the market but according to rumors, the latest iPhone 6 would be a completely revamped smartphone. By the looks of it, based on various reports and leaked photos, rumors may be right.
Design Makeover
Aside from being extremely thinner than other iPhones that have come out already, this new one will have an arched design that has a glass front tapered in at the bezel. According to reports, such transformation in the design of the phone is intended to make the device more comfortable when held and easier to use. This will be Apple’s first after the iPhone 4 redesign to deliver a device which has a larger screen display than its predecessors and the challenge was to make it easier to control without using both hands.
Another thing that is targeted to better or easier way of operating the phone is the changing of the position of the sleep/wake button which is moved to the right hand edge. Sure, this move makes a lot of sense considering that it’s tricky to reach the top of the phone when the display of the screen is set at 4.7 inches.
More Display Protection
It’s expected that the iPhone 6 will have a sapphire glass display but it’s not sure yet whether or not this will be available on all the phones that the company will manufacture. Experts say that this type of protection is actually way better than the currently used by Apple on its other devices which is Gorilla Glass 3.
Better Security
The Touch ID fingerprint scanner is both a design and performance upgrade which will give its user more security in case someone else will be using their device without permission, could apply to lost or stolen phones. This way, whatever personal information that the user has saved on the device won’t be retrieved by another because of the fingerprint scanner. Apple will also make the iPhone 6 water resistant with its revamped design.
Improve Processor Capabilities
While Samsung launched its Galaxy Note 4 which is the first that featured a 64-bit processor, Apple will be the next big launch but the company will position the latest device very well in order to take advantage of better processor capabilities. The company has been working really hard with a number of developers to come up with 64-bit apps.
If you thought that the last few iPhones did not succeed in providing the same level of excitement after their launch, the iPhone 6 will surely stand out and take the world by storm with its completely revamped design and exciting new features. Watch out for the launch of this new phone anytime soon and be one of the first few people to experience all the great things that it offers.
