J-Stars Victory VS+ Coming to the US and Europe in 2015

J-Stars Victory VS+

In somewhat of a surprising announcement, Bandai Namco have announced that J-Stars Victory VS+ will be coming to western markets in 2015. The game will be releasing on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.

J-Stars Victory VS+ is a fighting game with an all star cast from the weekly Shonen Jump manga series. The game has been available in Japan since March 2014. The games cast includes characters from the Naruto series, Dragonball Z series, One Piece series and many more. In total, the game has 52 characters, with 39 being playable and the rest being supporting characters. The game includes a story mode, a 2v2 mode and for the western release, an arcade mode will also be added.

The game takes place in the fictional ‘Jump World’ a world where all of the characters universes have come together. The story is split into four different parts, each part focuses on a select group of characters.

Bandai Namco have released a small teaser trailer which you can check out below. If you’re interested in longer footage, there are plenty of Youtube videos with the Japanese version of the game in action.
