PlayStation fans you may get excited, as the Japanese PS Awards 2013 are going to be held just a few days from now, next week on Tuesday the 3rd of December. The time of the event is around 3:30pm JST, which is around 06:30 AM GMT or 03:30 AM EST. The event will be streamed via Ustream live and will include user choice awards and more.
The PlayStation Awards in Japan are a ceremony held for almost 20 years (19 to be exact) when the first PlayStation consoles were released. Since then more than 270 games have been awarded. The prizes include a Platinum Prize, a Gold Prize, the PS Store Special Awards and of course – the Users’ Choice Awards.
It may not be such a huge event, as the winners are somewhat expected, because the prizes are given for the most downloaded and bought games. The most interesting of the prizes are the PS Store Special awards and the Users’ Choice Awards, although winners for the latter one are voted only throughout Japan and Asia. All in all, it would be a great event to watch and definitely worth watching, as to understand what exactly is going on in the gaming world of PlayStation.
If you want to read the official message of Deputy President Hiroyuki Oda, you can head over to the official site of PlayStation Asia. The Ustream live video stream will be available worldwide and accessible from any point on the globe. It will be held at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa in Tokyo, Japan, and as Sony is known for holding great ceremonies, it is expected that the Japanese PlayStation Awards 2013 will not be different. Watch the amazing ceremony on Tuesday live on the internet, as it will definitely be something you shouldn’t miss.
