No spoilers, please.
It appears that the Smash Bros. leak from a few weeks ago is in fact true. Japanese Twitch user “Hamayama” has unlocked the secret characters Dark Pit, Dr. Mario and Duck Hunt. These three have yet to be announced but did appear in the leaked screen shot, confirming its authenticity.
In the shot you can also see veteran fighters like Falco, Mr. Game & Watch and Ness are also present. You can also expect to see Jigglypuff join Smash Bros. as she was also in the leak.
There was also some official Smash Bros. news revealed in the “pic of the day”

Game directer Masahiro Sakurai added: “«They are different characters, so they each get their own title treatment on the character-selection screen. See? It says Alph.»”
A character who was not in the Smash Bros. leak has been revealed. It appears that Alph will be similar to a Lucina and Marth situation where they have slightly altered move styles of each other. This can be seen through another Sakurai quote posted today:
“«The hero from Pikmin 3, Alph joins the battle!! He has pretty much the same set skills as Olimar since he’s basically just his variation. He can’t use Rock Pikmin either.»”
You can also check out Shulk’s initial reveal here, as well as information on the new All Star mode.

The leaked roster is in fact true including Jigglypuff, R.O.B. and Bowser Jr.
Super Smash Bros. will be releasing on Nintendo 3DS in Japan on September 13 and in North America on October 3rd. The Wii U version is slated for a world wide release in the 4th quarter of 2014.
What do you think about the Smash Bros. leak now that we can confirm it? I personally wish it had not happened and that Nintendo had revealed these characters prior to the full game being available in Japan. Leave your thoughts in the comments below or follow me on Twitter!
