It’s nearly time for another trip down memory lane with Killer Instinct Classic 2
After getting remade just in time for the launch of the Xbox One, Killer Instincts has been keeping Xbox fighting fans pretty busy till now. For those fans you’ll be glad to hear that Killer Instinct Classic 2 has just been spotted on the Korean Games Rating Board website thanks to NeoGAF.
Because all boxers fight with MMA gloves right.All we know about the game so far is that it’s only for the Xbox One which makes sense and that it will be released later this year. This is also good news for this returning franchise since Iron Galaxy took over the series after Amazon bought the previous developers Double Helix.
Since Killer Instinct Classic 1 was released along with all the content from the ‘first season’ of Killer Instinct in the Killer Instinct Ultra Edition for £31.99, its fair to say that Killer Instinct Classic 2 will be released along with the ‘second seasons’ content in an Ultra 2 Edition later this year.
Season 2 of Killer Instinct hasn’t been given a release day yet but they have announced that both TJ Combo and Maya will be returning. In case you haven’t played the original games TJ Combo is a former five time boxer and Maya is an Amazon queen who battles with two daggers. She has also seen a redesign as she now wears golden armour which is fitting for a warrior queen and has a mysterious scar on her left leg.
TJ Combo meanwhile now looks more like his original design and has lost his eyepatch and has scars running down both his arms from surgeries he took to remove his cybernetics.
Killer Instinct Classic 2 doesn’t have a release date yet but it’s expected to be released later this year exclusively for the Xbox One so its time to start practising those “ULTRA COMBO’S”.
