Kirby and the Rainbow Curse to Support Amiibo Figures

by GH Staff

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse has been confirmed to be supporting Nintendo’s Amiibo figures.

In a post from Game Informer, details on which Amiibo figures would be supported and what they will add to the upcoming title were explained.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse will support the Kirby, Meta Knight, and King Dedede Amiibo figures that are all currently available. Each figure will grant Kirby a specific power up to help him on his new Wii U adventure.

A follow-up to Nintendo DS’ Kirby Canvas Curse, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse retains the same gameplay style of it’s Nintendo DS predecessor, while also utilizing the HD visuals of Wii U.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse will be released on January 22nd in Japan, February 13th in North America, and at some point during the 2nd half of 2015 for European territories.

The Kirby, Meta Knight, and King Dedede Amiibo figures are available now and can be used on other select Wii U Amiibo supported titles.
