Last The Last of US DLCs revealed

by GH Staff

Yes, repeating words is lame. But the final DLC for The Last of Us certainly isn’t. In fact, it seems to be a more than fitting end for a game that will definitely leave a mark in gaming history. There’s no way to overstate just how good the entire The Last of Us ride has been, and the final batch of content updates seem to be polished and engaging. The entire package of 5 DLCs will cost $19.99 through the Season Pass, but you can pick individual parts up too if you’re only interested in certain aspects.

The DLCs are coming out on the 8th of May, Thursday, so perhaps it’s a good idea to dust off your copy of The Last of Us. Most of the content will also be included in the game’s PS4 version, which is also coming out soon. The only parts missing will be the extra weapons and the new skills, but heck, you can pick those up individually anyway. This is also likely to be a problem for Naughty Dog, as selling content for the PS3 version will surely be affected by the upcoming PS4 edition of The Last of Us. Many players will probably wait to pick up the entire package for the new generation console and enjoy improved visuals and performance, at a more than fair and accessible price.

In any case, the multiplayer mode for The Last of Us certainly looks interesting and engaging, and the hardened singleplayer campaign will likely challenge even the more experienced players. Unfortunately, The Last of Us will likely remain a Playstation exclusive title, despite many fans asking for ports on Xbox consoles or the PC. If there ever was a good reason to pick up a Sony console, this game should certainly make it to the top of the list (right there next to Red Dead Redemption). Are you picking up the DLC packs this Thursday, or are you going to wait for the PS4 version? Do let us know in the comment section below!
