If you were planning to wrap this surprise underneath the Christmas tree for this up-coming holiday season, then you better check-out other titles, since Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will not be released until February 24, 2015.  Despite this unfortunate setback, the schedule launch will benefit many gamers who need a break from purchasing and playing other major titles like Dragon Age Inquisition, Batman Arkham Knight, etc.; these projects arrive much earlier in North America than this third installment. While awaiting for this mature and non-liner storyline in an open world project, let’s refresh our minds about the latest news since Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) with the first trailer.

Comic #5

Released on July 16th, The Witcher House of Glass #5 continues off Geralt’s horror/adventurous tale as he uncovers a bitter betrayal, which unleashes a legion of cursed souls. While enduring this violent onslaught, he must also escape from the House of Glass’s torture. Readers who want to find out more details on this epic journey can access this material at good comic book stores in the United States and as a digital download, via the Dark Horse iOS and Android application, as well as online, on the Dark Horse Digital comic book store.

Comic-Con 2014

At San Diego on July 24-25th, 1,000 participates will soon witness a 30 minute never-before-seen game-play, which will mean no more seeing older game-play trailers like the hunt for the griffin. Additionally, these lucky viewers will also partake in the question and answer portion with visiting game developers and publishers. Every attendee will receive a special, SDCC limited-edition postcard with Witcher artwork by Simon Bisley. For more details about the guests or conference schedule, please read the announcement from Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s official website.

Collector’s Edition

Players can access this game for the Playstation 4, XBox One, and Personal Computer (PC) for $59.99, but Collector’s Edition will cost $149.99, which is quite reasonable for its multiple benefits: collector’s Witcher box, the standard edition of the game, a giant Polystone figure of Geralt of Rivia battling a Griffin, SteelBook, two-hundred page artbook, soundtrack, compendum, game manual, medallion, stickers, and game map.

With this much information flowing, it’s always good to get a reminder and get pumped for the coming holiday sales, which includes special discounts on our favorite titles!
