Edge of Reality’s creative director, Mark Nau, has revealed their free-to-play title; Loadout, will be making its way to PS4, but no mention of a release date was said. Loadout is a third person multiplayer shooter with an emphasis on weapon combinations, arcade-styled gameplay, and tons of gore. Originally released back in January for PC, it has already racked up 3 million players, and continues to grow in popularity. According to Nau, the game has “ literally billions of different weapon combinations” as well as lots of character customization options, giving room for user creativity.

This unfortunate player has been burnt to a crisp, just one of the many creative ways of taking out the opposing team.
There are five game modes in total, which feature traditional multiplayer mechanics but with a unique twist, for example Jackhammer is similar to Capture The Flag, but instead of actually taking the flag home, players are encouraged to kill opponents with it. Death Snatch is much like regular deathmatch, however upon killing an opponent, a vial will be dropped, which when picked up, will give the team a point. Check out the trailer below, featuring many different ways of taking your opponent out, sometimes in just your underwear. [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tff9eN7XAI]
