ASUS just rolled out their latest product, the ZenFone 5. While ASUS is usually known for their motherboards, they are trying to get in on the smartphone market with their newest addition.
The latest model is made with smooth plastic, and they offer the phone in multiple colors including cherry red, pearl white, twilight purple, champagne gold, and charcoal black. The ZenFone 5 also offers a pleasant design with a high-quality casing that will please most users. The ZenFone 5 is more durable than others and also comes with well-positioned ports and buttons.
Screen
The 5 inch HD anti-scratch IPS screen coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which offers awesome angles for viewing. The display also has a 1280×720 resolution with 294 ppi and 16 million colors. The phone also lets you adjust the temperature of the color to give it a more personable style. The ASUS model comes with Android 4.3, and an upgraded interface design called Zen UI.
The ZeneFone 3 has a lot of pre-installed apps that offer a flat look. With a Remote and Share Link that lets you control your laptop and PC, while also being able to share contacts, content, movies, and ZenFone photos with other users.

ASUS offers to types of hardware for their different versions. The lesser ZenFone 5 runs at 1.6 GHz speeds on 1 GB RAM with a dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 and a PowerVR SGX554MP2 GPU. The second version of the ZenFone 5 offers more power with 2GB of Ram, running faster at 2GHz, on a dual-core Atom Z2580, and the same PowerVR GPU.
Each version offers respectively a memory capacity of 8GB and 16GB, with the 16GB offering expandable memory up to 64GB with external memory options. The phone also supports 3G and 2G, as well as dual-SIM, and comes with standard GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth V4.0, and Wi-Fi support.
Price and Battery
The battery capacity is much greater than their competitors with a 2110 mAh; that can provide 18 hours of talk time, and 353 hours on standby mode.
