CI Games have announced that their newest game, Lords of the Fallen, will be getting its first DLC, titled Ancient Labyrinth. The DLC will be released across PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this coming winter. Ancient Labyrinth will bring a new zone – called The Library – as well as a new boss called The Lord, who CI Games have said will have powers that constantly change throughout battle. The developers have also announced that the DLC will have a greater emphasis on puzzle solving and exploration.
Ancient Labyrinth will also include some new armour and weapons, a “demon focused quest”, some new NPCs, as well as some new side quests. The DLC will apparently include two and a half more hours of game play, and the new location will be featured in a maze full of skeletons. CI Games have also announced that Lords of the Fallen has finally become profitable, after managing to exceed the 500,000 games it needed to ship before breaking even. The game cost 42 million Polish zloty, which is approximately $12.4 million, to make.
