by GH Staff

Capcom has announced that Marvel Vs. Capcom Origins will be removed from digital stores very soon.

The Capcom Unity blog post that made this announcement stated the following dates in which the title will be removed:

  • US PSN – December 23rd, 2014
  • EU PSN – December 23rd, 2014
  • XBLA (Globally) – December 31st, 2014

For those wanting to buy the title, Marvel Vs. Capcom Origins is currently priced at $14.99 in North America across PSN and XBLA, and is available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Originally released back in 2012, Marvel Vs. Capcom Origins is a digital compilation game that bundled the arcade versions of the fighting games Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel Vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes.

Aside from the games, the digital compilation package also featured enhanced graphics (including various filters) for the titles, online play, leaderboards, replay saves, and various unlockables.
