Last week, Hideo Kojima posted a cryptic tweet that had Metal Gear Solid fans around the world foaming at the mouth.
The tweet, which can be seen below, simply said, “Metal Gear Collection 2014.”

Rumors and speculation pointed to an HD bundle containing all the previous Metal Gear Solid games remastered for current generation consoles.
Alas, that is not the case. The Metal Gear Collection isn’t coming to any consoles (or PC), because it was revealed at TGS 2014 to be none other than…a clothing line.

Kojima Strikes Again With Metal Gear Collection 2014
Apparently, Kojima’s mysterious “Metal Gear Collection 2014″ is a Metal Gear Solid V-inspired clothing line comprised of jackets and t-shirts with various MGSV logos and artwork embellished upon them.
As previously mentioned, Trolljima strikes again.
In regards to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and actual gaming news, MGSV received a 22-minute long gameplay demonstration and a new trailer at TGS 2014, both of which can be viewed here.
Additionally, for those curious about Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain‘s TGS 2014 schedule, you can see it below:
“‘Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will appear in four different stage events, each with different guests.‘
“Vocation” will be repeated every day of the show, from the 18th to the 21st, and will star actor Dante Carver.
“Voyager” will be repeated only on the 20th and the 21nd, and will bring in Kenji Yano as a guest.
“Vehement” will be on stage only on the 20th, and will star Snake’s voice actor Akio Otsuka, Ocelot’s voice Satoshi Mikami, and Quiet voice and performance actress Stefanie Joosten.
“Virtue” will be on the 21st, and will come with Akio Otsuka, Satoshi Mikami, Stefanie Joosten, Kenji Yano and Kazuhira Miller’s voice actor Tomokazu Sugita.”
This year’s Tokyo Game Show has already started and ends on the 21st, so be sure to keep an eye on GamerHeadlines.com for relevant news from the event.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain does not have an official release date as of yet, but hopefully it will be revealed sometime during TGS 2014.
The game will release for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
