Almost identical in terms of design, these two phones have a lot in common apart from their price range. G2 is the one which has a higher price range but is it really better than Moto G 4G? We must take a closer look at both the phones to answer that.

Motorola Moto G 4G

This is the 4G version of the original Moto G handset. It resembles its predecessor a lot in terms of features and it can surely give LG G2 a tough competition. Since it’s quite lesser in price compared to LG G2, certain features have been kept moderate, but even then this is a fully functional and a fine phone.

Design & Display

This phone has a 4.5 inch touch screen with IPS LCD capacitive display. It has 720 x 1280 illuminating its screen a 326 pixels per inch on a 4.5 inch screen gives quite bright visuals. The screen is further protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology.

Specifications, Camera & Battery

It has a 5 mega pixel phone which is perhaps the biggest adjustment the company has made to keep it within the budget range. Apart from that it has a powerful 1.2GHz Quad core processor and a 1 GB RAM. The already latest Android OS KitKat version can also be upgraded to a higher level of KitKat version. It has a non removable 2070 mAh battery.

LG G2

This LG phone was released in August 2013 and has been quite popular since then. The startling feature of this phone is its display which is brighter than usual and has an overall stylish design.

Design & Display

Like most other LG devices this phone too has a sleek body which is actually very comfortable to grasp. With True HD IPS LCD touch screen, this phone will give you a visual experience like no other. It has a 424 pixel per inch resolution on its 5.5 inch screen that makes it richer and crisp on display.

Specifications, Camera & Battery

This phone has a good sound quality – with Dolby mobile Sound enhancement provided. It does not provide you additional memory slot but it has 16 or 32 GB internal memory slot with a 2 GB RAM support. It provides you 13 mega pixels primary camera fully equipped with all essential features. The battery capacity is a tad bit higher than Moto G 4G.

Overall

We could have rated G2 higher for all the better specifications, but Moto G 4G has assembled all the features quite smartly – apart from the super smooth display and 13 mega pixels camera on the LG G2, there is no other drawback in this budget phone. So choose wisely.
