Naughty Dog Deny Uncharted Collection and Crash Return

by GH Staff

Given that Naughty Dog poster boy Drake is set to return in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, many rumored that Naughty Dog might be bringing out a HD collection which collates the games on PS4, in a 1080p capable, enhanced rendition. Similarly, due to Sony’s 20th Playstation anniversary, there were also rumors that the iconic mascot Crash Bandicoot could be making a return as a throwback to the early days of the Playstation 1.

Due to a Q&A on Twitch.TV, we now have answers to both of these speculations directly from Naughty Dog management, both were strongly denied. Eric Monacelli commented “Nothing brewing for Uncharted Collection,”, which means it’ll likely never happen as now would be the perfect time before the first next-gen installment. The response to Crash rumors was even more blunt “Not likely. Activision owns Crash.”

Other than that, they did confirm more Last Of Us downloadable content was on the way, whilst specifying that it would not be included in the season pass.
