A brief, but concise trailer for Destiny just released, courtesy of Sony, that tells you everything you need to know about the upcoming shooter MMO. The trailer begins with a caption of ‘Rewriting The FPS Rulebook’, which might be perhaps one of the major goals of Destiny in the long run.
The trailer itself is packed with a lot of in-game footage, showing both game environments and locales, as well as first person gameplay with a lot going on. The developers provide commentary over the action, highlighting the unique aspects of Destiny. Players will be able to utilize vertical movement with each of the unique classes, such as the ability to double jump or glide. Each class also has a super move that puts the character in third person as they unleash a devastating attack on surrounding enemies. Players in Destiny will be able to discover other players from time to time and interact in big player events, the likes of which we’ve seen in other MMOs. You can choose to either take part in these intersections or ignore them to follow your own story. Watch the trailer below for full details.
