With the ever growing hype for the newest rendition of Super Smash Bros it is hard to find an alternative or rival to the hit Nintendo game, today however Bandai Namco announced their newest game “Digimon All-Star Rumble” which looks like it could be Super Smash Bros biggest rival to date.

Not much is known about this new Digimon game, all we have seen so far is a short demo announcement which shows some of the arenas, dynamic events and a new feature called “Digivolving” which can be performed mid-battle and even in the middle of a combo of attacks, this new feature looks very cool and could make for a good game changer in the midst of battle. These Digivolved forms appear to be much stronger and much larger than their previous form and implement a whole new array of attacks, A press release states that up to four players can be playing against each other at one time, and from what we could see in the trailer it looks to be like a small, fast and chaotic style of fighting similar to the Super Smash Bros formula

The game is set to launch on November 11 and will be able for Xbox 360 and PS3 which is quite surprising considering the release of Playstation All Stars on the PS3 not being as successful as many had hoped, hopefully the game will live past the last generation consoles and find it’s way to PS4, Xbox One and maybe even the WiiU in the future, as for the PC gamers…well we haven’t had the best ports of fighting games in a long time…
