Bandai Namco have released a brand new trailer for upcoming fighter Tekken 7. The trailer features a good variety of characters and gameplay. You can check it out below.
Tekken 7 is the next installment in the hugely popular Tekken franchise, the game will be using the Unreal 4 engine. Three brand new characters have already been revealed, including character ‘Lucky Chloe’ who has received a large amount of criticism. The game currently only has an arcade release date of February 2015 in Japan, but like all Tekken games you can definitely expect a console release, hopefully in 2015.
Two new mechanics will be added in Tekken 7. The first is the Rage Art mechanic. This allows a fighter to unleash a devastating unblockable attack that deals 60-80% damage to an opponent’s health. This can only be done while the fighter executing the move is on critical health. The second new mechanic is the ‘Power Crush’. This lets a fighter continue to attack the enemy while they are being attacked. The bound system has also been slightly altered.
