New Watch Dogs Trailer Takes You On A Tour Of Its Version Of Chicago

by GH Staff

The latest trailer for Ubisoft’s upcoming open world game Watch Dogs welcomes us to their version of Chicago. The trailer’s narrator explains how the world of the game is an “immersive, hyper connected playground”, designed by a new graphics engine built specifically for Watch Dogs. This will incorporate dynamic lighting, weather effects and physics, all which will be present throughout the game.

Ubisoft has done really well with open world games in the past, such as the Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry series, so they are sure to not disappoint with Watch Dogs. The AI citizens of the game are all designed to be unique, all connected and hackable by the game’s protagonist, which could lead to unique, player driven adventures. However, the trailer warns that the city will react to your actions and it could lead to major consequences if you get involved with the wrong people.

Watch Dogs’ world seems to be designed as a big, living and breathing space in which not only you but several online players can interact in. Watch Dogs has suffered from delays but will finally be released on May 27 2014 for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, with a Wii U version coming at a later date.
