Developers Ninja Theory known for creating games like Heavenly Sword, DmC: Devil May Cry and the criminally underrated fighting game Kung Fu Chaos have been working on a brand new game entitled Hellblade. Hellblade was first announced at Gamescom 2014 and today Ninja Theory have released a new developer diary video focusing on the creation of the gameworld in Hellblade.
The post was made on the PlayStation Blog and you can check the full original post here. You can also check out the video below.
‘Today, I’m very pleased to be sharing with you our very latest development diary, No.4: Creating the World. This episode focuses on the approach that we’re taking to create Hellblade’s world with just one Environment Artist and the artistic vision behind it’
Hellblade is still in its early stages of development, so not much is known about the game yet. The game will be an action hack and slash and be releasing exclusively on PlayStation 4. No release date has been given, but I would say no release until 2016 at the earliest, the game has only been in development for eight months or so. For more information on Hellblade, you can check out the official website here.
